ICE OUT protest and march - (Mark two?) -

Hello everyone, Travis here.
I parked in my usual garage parking. (It was $8 total, if you’re interested)
With my camera, vest, backpack, water, helmet and respirator I walked north-east to the Colorado State Capitol building.
The protest was supposed to start at 6pm Mountain time. With the march starting at about 6:20 or 6:30. I was a bit late.
While I was walking towards the Capitol Building, I ran into a mass of people moving south-bound on Lincoln Street, just south of 14th Ave and the Capitol Building,.
There appeared to be some slight confusion and miscommunication , but the leaders of the march communicated with each other, and figured out that the march was supposed to be going to the north. Northbound on Lincoln Street. The marched turned around and the mass of what was about 1000 or more people strode north.
The march went north on Lincoln Street, and continued into Capitol Hill and Downtown Denver.
The protesters marched for miles, shouting and chanting as one voice: determined to have their truth and thoughts heard and their message delivered.
Their message was complex and nuanced with many chants and cries. Demanding and pleading for human-rights, justice, dignity and compassion. I lost track of the specific wording of chants that they proclaimed. But the the loudest of their calls could be heard as:“ Fuck ICE!”, “Fuck Donald Trump!”,
The protesters marched through the streets, twisting and turning through the turns, The protesters were loud and persistent. Drums, megaphones, an instrument that I could not identify, loud-speakers, and the voices of the people shouted and demanded to be heard by the denizens of Denver.
The pedestrians, the office workers, the bar and restaurant goers, the bus and pedi-cab drivers, the security officers, and the sight-seers all heard the unignorably unified voice of the people proclaiming truth, shouting reason, and demanding attention, justice, and reconciliation.
The protesters were chanting:
"No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here"
”!El pueblo, unido; jamas sera vencido! - The people, united; will never be defeated”
"Fuck ICE"
"Fuck Donald Trump"
"It was murder"
"Who's streets? Our Streets"
"Donald Trump has got to go"
”Out of the bar, into the streets”
”Show me what democracy looks like! - This is what democracy looks like!”
among others
The marches covered a huge amount of ground. Going through the streets, north south east and west, the protester's voices reaching as many as they could.
I marched along, finding shots, taking photos, catching back up and taking photos again for as long as a could.
I walked with the people for about 2-3 (+) or so hours. What, maybe it was more? How long? How many miles? IDFK dude: I’m not like some kinda black turtle-neck wearin’ ass, ROI/horoscope tracking GPS motherfucker.. I’m just an ADHD dude with a bulletproof vest and a camera that is kinda on the really-fuckin-heavy side.
Eventually my stamina gave out. I could not keep up. The marchers out-ran me, and I went home.
