Armed Protest - Anti SAVE Act - 03/21/2026 - Littleton, Colorado

On March 21st 2026:

About 10 or so individuals met at the corner of Littleton/Bowels and Sante Fe in Littleton, Colorado, in 85° F heat, to participate in an armed protest.
They were protesting the SAVE Act, the actions of DHS and ICE, and the Donald Trump administration.

The protest was organized by the Front Range Carry Protesting group, primary online through Discord and Reddit.
The group sized about seven to ten, depending on time, with most of them open carrying a firearm or two.

“Fuck ICE” - Albert

One of the participants, Albert, who has lived in Colorado for 25 years, describes the Trump administrations actions as racist and analogous to the German Gestapo before and during WWII.
He describes the actions of ICE as “Lawless”, unconstitutional, and targeting only brown and Hispanic people.

“[ICE] says that they are lawless. They are proud of being lawless…. this is a 100% racist organization.” - Albert

Albert reiterated the need for nonviolent resistance, claiming that the Trump administration is looking for an excuse to enact martial law and cancel future elections.
Albert was wearing a simple shirt and waiving a black “FUCK ICE” flag.
He was not armed and expressed his preference for un-armed protesting, but recognizes the need for self defense.

“The Left has to arm themselves, strictly for defense. I would prefer that we protested without arms, because I don’t want to provoke another murder by ICE.” - Albert


One of the protesters, Nathan, was at his very first protest. Calling the SAVE Act “Voter suppression”.
Nathan, a firearms owner, was aware that the event was an “Armed Protest”, but chose not to bring firearm.

“The SAVE Act is objectively wrong. This regime… has turned me into a political advocate, that’s not something I ever thought I’d be.” - Nathan

Nathan believes that education is a facet of human and American life. He expressed that without education, voters may be making choices based on propaganda.
He reiterated the necessity to source information from a variety of sources. To not focus in on echo-chambers, and to listen to a broad spectrum of opinions.

“The opinions coming from… MAGA is just wrong. Morally and factually wrong” - Nathan

The woman who goes by the name “FireSong” was armed with a Springfield Helion bullpup rifle, a SIG P365 pistol, and armored with a plate-carrier featuring rifle-rated ballistic plates. She believes that there is a time and a place for both armed and unarmed protests. This was her fourth protest this year.

“I feel like the unarmed protests just haven’t been as affective as we’d like them to be. … the government is still ignoring our voices” -FireSong

FireSong opposes the SAVE Act, describing at Voter Suppression and “Targeting left-leaning individuals”
She expresses concern that the SAVE Act would disproportionally harm Transgender people; explaining that many of her Transgendered friends do not have matching names on their ID’s or passports.

“I think what is happening in [the Trump Administration] in terms of ICE accountability… is unnaceptable” - FireSong

When asked how she would like to respond to the passing hecklers, she expressed that she wishes that they could learn to have empathy and compassion for their fellow humans.
“I wish that [the hecklers] would understand that their actions and support (of The SAVE Act and DHS) are taking away (peoples) rights.” - FireSong

FireSong drove from northern Colorado, to the south side of the Denver Metro Area to participate in this protest.
